Student PIRG

Last spring, Student PIRG interns at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign collected hundreds of petitions to defend the EPA's ability to enforce the Clean Air Act; University of Arizona interns lobbied alongside Arizona PIRG advocates to get the state transportation board to pass a proposal to create a passenger rail line between Phoenix and Tucson; and Kent State students collected over 3,000 canned goods to alleviate hunger in Cleveland.

If you want to make a difference and learn valuable skills, join our team of interns and volunteers. We've got plans to take on the problems our country faces - and with your help, we can.

Fall Campaigns:

  • Energy Service Corps
  • Sustainable University of Utah
  • End Unhealthy Food Subsidies
  • Make Textbooks Affordable
  • No Hunger, No Homelessness

If you care about these issues or others, we can give you the skills you need to make a difference. We're working together, and we're getting things done.
