Organization: TheCollegeHelper.com
Hours: 5-10 hrs. p/week
Duties: TheCollegeHelper.com is seeking blogging interns who are interested in sharing their college experience through writing blog posts for our site. Interns would work closely with a professional blogger to write 2-3 blog posts per week, conduct research, and assist with other projects on an as-needed basis.
Requirements:
* Current college student
* English, communications, and journalism majors preferred, but not required
* Passion for blogging and writing
* Good writer, team player, and technologically savvy
* Knowledge of WordPress, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Skype is a plus
* Minimum 3-month commitment (but longer if the student would like!)
o Spring Internship (March 5, 2012 - May 25, 2012)
o Summer Internship (June 4, 2012 - August 31, 2012)
* Academic credit is not required to apply
Benefits:
* Work remotely on student's own computer
* Time commitment is only 5-10 hours per week (unless the student desires to work more)
* We're flexible - students can write posts whenever they have time during the week
* Learn about the blogging culture and social media
* Create a portfolio of published work
