Marketing

Communication/Marketing Intern, Fall Semester (August-November)

This internship will develop marketing, communications, and fundraising strategies within the Salt Lake City Affiliate.

· Research list of schools and send out mailing regarding fundraising opportunities in October.

· Communicate with Rally for the Cure database

· Expand Rally for the Cure database by researching list of golf, tennis, and other clubs.

· Learn about Yoplait program and roll out awareness program

· Discuss other corporate partnerships and implement plan of action.

· Research how other affiliates are involved with funeral homes, and develop a plan of action to get our affiliate involved with the ones in our community.

· Help plan Survivor luncheon, along with Survivor committee, if needed.

· Assist with any events and booths

· Research and implement best practices from other Affiliates

· Assist in responding to e-mail and phone inquirers

· Assist in creating and preparing Race materials for following year

· Compile schedule for regular Facebook and Twitter updates

· Maintain web site and keep current with new events

Communicate with prior participants in Passionately Pink/October events.

Time Commitment:

About 20 hours per week, however a flexible time schedule is desired. The number of hours per week may vary substantially. Maintaining emails and social media on weekdays when the intern is not in office is expected.

Bonus/stipend will be paid on satisfactory completion of the internship.
