Marketing and Business Communications Internship Opportunity
The Skier’s Edge Company, a Utah based ski-fitness equipment company, is offering a qualified candidate an excellent internship opportunity for the fall semester and upcoming ski season.
Intern must be organized, self sufficient, possess strong communication skills, task and completion oriented, be ready to learn and work in a fast-paced team environment. Intern will be working directly with the Marketing Manager, assisting a variety of tasks and projects. Intern is also responsible for transportation.
Tasks include, but not limited to: creating ad calendars, compiling advertising data, contributing to copy writing for press releases, advertisements and mailers; help prepare for ski shows and other major projects, running all inquiry requests under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, using Microsoft Office, directly assisting Marketing Manager, supporting the Graphics and Sales Department, and facilitating office requirements and upkeep.
Intern will be compensated $10/hour.
Hours will be somewhat flexible, typically 8:30am-12:00pm, M-F; weekly hours and days may vary upon request.
Third year student applicants are preferred. There is still time to receive school credit for internships through the University of Utah!
