Manage Participation in Marketing Events and Follow-up
- Obelis travels to and participates is many international events including exhibitions, congresses, conferences, seminars and workshops all over the world each year. These events are one of out greatest marketing tools. Essentially, the Marketing Coordinator Intern will be in charge of organizing and coordinating these events from A to Z, as well as event following-up. This includes booking flights and hotels, developing marketing and mailing campaigns, arranging appointments with prospective clients and collaborators, designing and organizing booth layouts, and creating flyers and other marketing materials. The ability to coordinate responsibilities and delegate in an organized manner is essential for this position because of the interactions with other departments in accomplishing related tasks.
Research European Directives
- Working directly with our European Authorized Representative Center (www.obelis.net), project managers will quickly become familiar with the European Directives that affect our business and in time compose a list of services that we will offer in conjunction with these new Directives. Learning quickly, enthusiasm, and curiosity for new and unfamiliar topics are essential to performing efficiently and effectively.
Create Market Material
- In conjunction with the European Directive Research, the Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Obelis team to improve the presentation and professionalism throughout the media tools we currently employ (website, flyers, Power Points, catalogs, etc.). Actual presentation development for seminars will be designed by this intern. These skills will be applied to all projects currently being implemented in Obelis Group. Again, fast learning and creativity are a must for this intern. Relevant experience and knowledge of Photoshop and/or Publisher are necessary.
