Organization: Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) at George Mason University
Duties: Writers considering a political beat can work at a think tank or policy organization in one of more than 40 states while developing a network of contacts. The program includes policy and career seminars in Washington, D.C.
Spring, Summer, and Fall internships available. Spring internship deadline is November 15.
