Organization: Simmons Media Group (X96 Radio From Hell)
Hours: 16 hours per week over a quarter/semester (schedule arranged by the intern, intern coordinator, and intern's academic advisor)
Requirements to Qualify for Internship:
- Needs to be registered at a university, college, community college or vocational-technical institute on a full-time basis.
- Needs to be in good academic standing.
- Completed standard employee application form (www.simmonsmedia.com)
- Current academic transcript
- A letter from the applicant's university or college verifying arrangement of credit for the internship
Duties/Skills:
- Organized, precise and accurate, able to meet deadlines.
- Good writing, production and conversational skills.
- Compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Handle stress, and maintain positive rapport with colleagues and clients.
- Discretion as to assignments during participation in the internship with Simmons Media Group.
- Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
- Substantial physical movements of the wrists , hands and/or fingers.
- Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination
- Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion.

Persons participating in the Simmons Media Group internship need to understand that no guarantees are given for future employment. Simmons Media Group may terminate the internship at any time.
