Title: Web Content Summer Internship
Organization: VentureCapital.org
Hours: May 7, 2012 through August 10, 2012. 18 hrs. p/week.
Duties: The Web Content intern works closely with the executive staff. This exciting role’s primary duty is to help research, generate and curate of all types of web content.
You will learn/apply the most advanced content techniques and strategies for today's market while actively building a career.
Essential Job Functions Include:
• Lead select new project initiatives
• Collaborate with executive staff and team members to successfully execute projects
• Create and/or management web content development projects
• Gather, generate and/or compile content from partners in our network
• Maintain overall content development/publishing calendar and timelines
• Identify opportunities for enhancements while improving the network experience
Skills: You are a rock star! Better yet, you know how to make clients look like rock stars!
Relevant major, and must be a senior, graduate student or graduated within the last 12 months.
Great customer service and interpersonal skills, and must be tactful in dealings with people. Discretion, good judgment, attention to detail, organizational and management ability, initiative, and the ability to work independently are especially important. Must be computer savvy and be able to learn new software easily.
The internship will provide enormous opportunity for energetic, leadership-minded students eager to be an integral part of our team. You must be results-driven, self-actuated, and have creative input for creative solutions along with strong organizing skills. Successful candidates will become part of a special project in developing content for our digital publishing projects.
