Organization: The Scripps Howard Foundation Semester in Washington Program
Undergraduate students, juniors and seniors, will spend a 14-week semester covering politics and other news and feature stories in the nation’s capital for the Scripps Howard Foundation Wire. Interns may also report for hometown news organizations or other news outlets. This is a full-time internship located in downtown Washington.
This internship comes with free housing in furnished apartments in Northwest Washington and a stipend of $2,520.
Fall International Intern – application deadline is May 14

2012-2013 Post-graduate Multimedia Fellow – application deadline is April 1
Graduates with bachelor’s or master’s degrees are invited to apply for this yearlong fellowship. The fellowship comes with free housing in a furnished apartment and a $21,000 stipend. The fellowship lasts for a year, beginning in late summer 2012.
The fellow maintains our website, so applicants must have excellent skills in html and CMS. The fellow teaches multimedia skills to undergraduate interns, coordinates group projects and produces his or her own stories.

Hispanic Link Intern – application deadline is May 14
The Scripps Howard Foundation sponsors an intern who reports for the Hispanic Link News Service in Washington. The internship comes with free housing in a furnished apartment and a stipend of $2,520.
