a large, private commercial finance firm based in Salt Lake City – not far from the U campus
HOURS: 20-25 hours/week, flexible schedule; can sometimes work at home.
Please note that while the immediate position is part-time, there is also the opportunity to evolve this job into full-time work, for the right person who is motivated and able to move into a full-time position if it becomes appropriate.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support National Marketing Manager with daily administration of the sales & marketing function
MARKETING SUPPORT
BDO Marketing
• Help fulfill BDO mailings (create merged files from Excel databases, print letters and other collateral, stuff envelopes, meter and mail)
• Maintain inventory of BDO marketing materials, mailing supplies, etc.
• Help prepare BDO Referral Packets, and maintain inventory for these packets
BDO Recruiting
• Maintain BDO Database for use in BDO Recruiting efforts
• Maintain and send out BDO Recruiting packets as requested
Events/Gifts/ Promo Items
• Assist with annual holiday gifts to Referral Sources and clients
• Help coordinate special event and sales meeting details as needed
• Maintain inventory of promotional items, and help brainstorm new items
Internet Marketing
• Update and maintain blog, press release, and BDO sections of website
• Assist with creation of blog content, as needed
• Update and maintain BDO Resource Center (intranet)
General Administrative
• Order and mail announcements for new hires and office relocations
• Maintain inventory of business stationery for BDOs
• Help maintain BDO databases as requested
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Good communication and project management skills
• Good computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience in office setting preferred
• College degree preferred, Marketing or English degree/major a plus
MISCELLANEOUS
Status: Hourly, no benefits
