Position: KUTV Fresh Living interns Fall 2011
Shift: mornings, schedule is flexible, but must be here between 9:30am and 12:00pm
Compensation: none
College Requirement: must be receiving college credit for the internship or be paid for the internship by an outside source
Show Description: Fresh Living is a lifestyle show featuring local business, topics, and ideas. Hosted by Debbie Worthen and Casey Scott, Fresh Living airs Monday thru Friday at 1pm on KUTV. This is a guest-based show that includes some paid segments featuring KUTV clients. We integrate broadcast, web, and social media to give Utahns a place to be heard and find new ideas. Segments include things like cooking, health, celebrity gossip, current events, legal advice, and much more.
Intern Responsibilities: We require driven individuals with a working knowledge of writing, producing, and editing. Prospects must be comfortable interviewing and producing segments for the show. Attention to detail and professional attitude are a must. Potential responsibilities include:
· Maintaining the Fresh Living webpage at connect2utah.com on a daily basis
· Greeting guests and making them comfortable for their appearance
· Producing regular segments (this includes field producing, writing, coordinating with guests)
· Writing scripts for the show
· Learning ENPS, Final Cut Pro
· Editing daily teases for Facebook
· Contributing ideas for segments and show production
