Title: PR Intern
Organization: Circle The Wagons, a nonprofit organization providing critical information and support to victims of violent crime throughout Utah, is looking for a enthusiastic college junior, senior or graduate to assist our organization as a Public Relations intern. The selected applicant will have the opportunity to build their resume, gain valuable experience and work with others devoted to assisting those in need.
Hours:The Internship Program will begin during the week of May 16 and will last 12 weeks. Once accepted, the intern will work with Circle The Wagons’ Executive Director. The selected applicant will be expected to work an average of 10-12 hours per week. Internships have possibility of small salary.
Skills: Circle The Wagons is seeking an enthusiastic, organized student. The selected student will develop and implement a Public Relations/Social Media program by writing and distributing press releases, pitching stories to the media both locally and nationally, compiling press kits, research articles and statistics pertinent to violent crime and develop a comprehensive Social Media program.
