Organization: Utah Clean Cities Coalitions (UCCC)
Hours: 15-25 a week
Compensation $12/hour as an independent contractor
School credit available
Duties:
- Maintain and update social media websites
- Write blog entries, newsletters, and draft press releases
- Represent UCCC at events
- Respong to public inquires as required
- Coordinate events with the government and public
- Track media articles on the coalition
- Research prospective media or speaking opportunities
- Calling Clients for events and RSVPs
- Creating reports as needed
- Current or newly graduated student at a college or university
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are a must
- Comfort with a wide variety of communications tools and demonstrated experience with social media tools (Twitter, Facebook, Blogger, YouTube, ect)
- Strong computer and multimedia skills (Microsoft Office, Web applications, etc)
- Must be a strong self starter
- Must be willing to submit to a drug and background test, in order to work in the office
