Organization: Salt Lake Valley Health Department
Hours:10 - 15 hours a week
Duties:
- Monitor local/national/international health headlines, and localize stories that impact Salt Lake County audience.
- Manage Delicious Social Media Account
- Assist in logging tapes
- Attend weekly planning meeting (Friday 11 A.M.) with ideas for the following week, including discussion topics, video ideas, etc.
- Assist in video shoots, including set up and lighting
- Assist in editing videos
- Brainstorm and execute effective community health campaigns, including a final project that targets your University.
- Assist in the expansion of our Social Media Program, including Facebook and YouTube
- Assist in updating Twitter and Facebook when needed
Skills:
- Working knowledge of Social Media
- Video editing experience, preferably in Final Cut Express and iMovie
- Adept at AP style, website/ Press Release writing
- Creative and forward thinking
