Title: Technology Venture Development
Organization: The office of technology venture development -- "Tech Ventures"

Hours: $8/hr

Duties: Perform a variety of tasks and support programs in our department. Participate in a diverse set of projects and meet with industry and campus leaders. After working as a Tech Ventures intern, students will have the opportunity to take on expanded and focused roles within specific programs that may include scholarship support.

Skills: Ability to work with other students, industry leaders, and campus faculty. Clear communicator both verbally and in writing. Attention to detail. Ability to problem-solve, recommend process improvements, trouble shoot, and manage a variety of simultaneous projects.

Tech Ventures offers a broad range of services that support goals of commercializing new technologies and innovations. We manage the intellectual property on campus, support entrepreneurial education, engage faculty inventors and engage industry experts to take new ideas to market and expand economic growth in Utah. We are developing new outreach programs to expand our community of innovators. These programs target community youth and undergraduate students.
