Duties:
Mentor Program: Work on a corporate level project to bring together mentors and mentees.
• Collaborate with others to create, define, and initiate the mentor process. Generate innovative ideas and solutions to create video clips to be used as learning tools by managers and employees. Will need to demonstrate a “can-do” spirit, ownership, and commitment while participating in writing the video script and organizing filming logistics. Will need to be able to express oneself effectively, listen carefully to others’ ideas, and clearly share information and viewpoints with others.
Develop learning and awareness materials for engage!: Establish engage! learning courses
• Provide innovative ideas to help establish engage!, a corporate-wide survey that measures employee engagement. Create learning materials that will help managers and employees gain awareness and understanding of engage! Maintain a consistent, high level of productivity while creating and organizing content for the engage! “center of excellence” portal.
Skills:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelors or Masters Degree program with a major in Public Relations, Communications or other related field. Must have experience in website development. Video editing experience is nice to have, but not required. Demonstrate creative thinking through either presentation of materials or ideas. SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have good organizational skills and time management skills. High level of interpersonal skills to work with internal stakeholders. Proficiency in personal computer applications required, as well as an understanding of instructional design. Requires ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with all levels of management and work within a participative, fast paced and interactive team environment.
